卡尔·H. & 吉塞拉米. Schoenbach奖学金
卡尔·H教授. Schoenbach
卡尔·H教授. Schoenbach is the founder of the Frank Reidy RESEARCH Center for Biolectrics, he is an Eminent Scholar Emeritus 和 Professor Emeritus of Electrical 和 Computer Engineering at 最靠谱的网赌软件, 和 held the Batten Endowed Chair in Bioelectric Engineering until he retired in June of 2010. He received the Diploma degree in physics 和 the Dr. r. nat. degree in physics in 1966 和 1970, 分别, from the Technical University of Darmstadt, 德国. 1971年至1978年, he held a lectur position at this university, with his research focusing on nanosecond high pressure plasmas. From 1979 to 1985 he held a faculty position at Texas Tech University, where he was involved in research on pulsed electrical power physics 和 technology. In 1985, he joined 最靠谱的网赌软件 in Norfolk, VA. He served as Director of the Physical Electronics RESEARCH Institute from 1987 to 2002, 和 as Founding Director of the Frank Reidy RESEARCH Center for 生物 from 2002 to 2008. In 1987 he was named Eminent Professor, 和 Eminent Scholar in 1989. He was active in nanosecond pulsed electrical power research until 1993 和 had then concentrated his research efforts on nonthermal plasmas, particularly micro-plasmas, 和 on environmental 和 medical applications of nano- 和 picosecond pulse power technology.
He has published over 200 papers in peer-reviewed journals, 拥有28项专利, 和 his scientific work is cited more than 25,000 times with an h-value of 84. He has served as associate editor of the IEEE Transactions on Plasma Science from 1989 to 2007, guest editor of the IEEE Transactions on Electron-Devices (1990), the IEEE Transactions on Plasma Science (1999), 和 the IEEE Transactions on Dielectrics 和 Electrical Insulation (2003 和 2009). He is co-editor of books on "Low Temperature Plasma Physics" (2001 和 2007 (2nd edition)), 和 on "Atmospheric Pressure Air Plasmas" (2004), 和 he has co-authored a book on "Ultrashort Pulse Effects in Biology 和 Medicine (2021). He has chaired several workshops 和 conferences, among them the 1991 IEEE 国际 Conference on Plasma Science, 和 the first ElectroMed conference in 1999.
In 1994 he was elected Fellow of IEEE for "contributions to the research 和 development of very-high-power electronic devices," 和 received the 2000 High Voltage Award from the Dielectric 和 Electrical Insulation Society of the IEEE, the Peter Haas Pulsed Power Award in 2007 from the Pulsed Power Society of the IEEE, the inaugural Frank Reidy 生物 Award in 2010 from the 国际 生物 Consortium, 和 the D'Arsonval Award from the Bioelectromagnetics Society in 2017. In 2018 he was awarded the degree of Doctor of Science, honoris causa, from 最靠谱的网赌软件.
卡尔·H. & 吉塞拉米. Schoenbach奖学金
